Warehouse Perimeter & Yard Surveillance
Perimeter and yard coverage for a distribution warehouse operating extended hours.
The challenge
A large yard, long perimeter and high racking created blind spots, and night-time coverage was poor. Stock movement at the loading bays could not be reviewed reliably.
Our solution
A mixed camera specification was used: wide coverage across the yard, tighter fixed positions on the loading bays for identification, and infrared-capable units on the perimeter. Recording was sized for the client's required retention period.
Implementation
Cabling was routed through protected containment around the perimeter and into the main building. Cameras were positioned during both day and night visits so that night performance could be verified in the real lighting conditions.
The result
Continuous coverage of the yard and loading bays, with usable night footage and enough retention to investigate incidents reported days later.
