It depends on what has to be covered rather than on the size of the building. We look at entrances, exits, high-value areas, blind spots and the level of detail you need — identification requires tighter coverage than general monitoring. A site assessment gives you a camera count with reasons attached.
Analogue HD systems use coaxial cabling and are usually the more economical option for straightforward installations. IP systems run over network cabling, offer higher resolution, easier expansion and better integration with other systems. We recommend whichever suits the site, the budget and the plan for the next few years.

Retention depends on camera count, resolution, frame rate and hard drive capacity. Tell us how far back you need to be able to look and we size the storage accordingly.
