Hybrid Solar Installation for a Commercial Property
A hybrid solar and battery system sized around the property's measured daily load.
The challenge
Frequent outages were interrupting business operations, and the generator was expensive to run for the relatively modest load that actually needed to stay alive.
Our solution
The client's consumption was assessed before anything was specified. A hybrid solar array with lithium storage was designed to carry the essential circuits through outages and reduce daytime grid consumption.
Implementation
Panels were installed on the available roof area, the inverter and battery bank were mounted in a ventilated plant space, and essential circuits were separated onto a dedicated distribution board so the backed-up load is well defined.
The result
Business operations continue through outages, generator running hours dropped substantially, and daytime grid consumption is materially lower.
